Subscription
How does the free trial work?
Your first session is free during sign-up. After that, the monthly and yearly plans both start with a 7-day free trial, handled by the App Store. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically.
The trial is available once per Apple ID, across both plans.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. From Yana: Profile → My subscription → Manage my subscription. Or from your iPhone:
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions, then Yana.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
I changed iPhones — how do I get my subscription back?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, then go to Profile → My subscription → Restore purchases.
How do I request a refund?
Payments are collected by Apple, which also handles refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Does deleting my account stop my subscription?
No. Deleting your account doesn't cancel your Apple subscription — cancel it first with “Manage my subscription”.
Account & data
How do I back up my journey?
Until you link your account, your journey only lives on this iPhone. Go to Profile → Save my journey and sign in with Apple to find it on another device.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Profile → Delete my account. This deletes your account and first name, your goals, your journey history and all your audio files. It's permanent.
Can't open the app anymore? Write to digest.mtl@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.
Who can read what I write?
No one, publicly: nothing is ever shared or sold. To write and voice your sessions, the app sends what's needed to AI providers, only after you consent. It's all detailed in the privacy policy.
How do I change my first name or language?
In Profile → My settings: first name, voice, reminders, background music and language (English or French).
Sessions & journey
Why can't I do my morning session anymore?
The morning session stays open until noon, local time — it's there to start your day. After noon, you'll pick up your journey in the evening, then the next morning.
When does the evening session open?
At your evening reminder time, 9 p.m. by default. You can change it in Profile → My reminders.
Can I replay or regenerate a session?
Each slot happens once a day: one morning, one evening. Sessions aren't regenerated — that's what makes each one belong to its day.
I missed a day. Did I lose my progress?
No. A missed day pauses your journey; it doesn't skip ahead. You pick up exactly where you left off.
Can I have several goals?
Yes, up to 3 active goals. Each day, only one takes your morning and evening sessions; the others wait their turn without losing progress.
My journey is over. What now?
You can view your recap, extend your journey, or choose a new direction. Your history is always kept.
Audio & reminders
My session won't load.
Your session is written and recorded when you start it, so you need an internet connection. If it fails, tap “Try again” — it resumes where it stopped, without counting as an extra session.
Still stuck? Write to us with the approximate time it happened.
I can't hear anything.
Check the volume and that your iPhone isn't connected to a Bluetooth device elsewhere. Background music can be adjusted (or turned off) in Profile → Background music.
How do I change the voice or pace?
In Profile → My voice: listen to the available voices, pick one and set its speed. The change applies to your next session.
I'm not getting my reminders.
- Open Settings → Notifications → Yana and turn on “Allow Notifications”.
- Make sure a Focus mode isn't silencing Yana.
- In Yana, open Profile → My reminders and check the times you picked.
Didn't find your answer?
